This work, the fifth one in the project “retrieve of Classicism in Contemporary art”, was created in Angera (Province of Varese) in September 2016. It depicts Boy with a basket of fruit by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio. The work, painted in 1593, is kept in Rome’s Galleria Borghese. Michelangelo Merisi was born in 1571 in Milan. This mural, sprayed wall, is located smack in the middle of Angera’s old town and it is at the foot of the Rocca di Angera, which belonged to the Borromeos from 1449.
