This work was painted in Varese at Viale Belforte 250 in April 2016. It depicts The taking of Christ by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio. It was painted in 1602 and it is kept at Dublin’s National Gallery of Ireland. This mural reproduces one of the most fascinating paintings by the Lombard artist (Caravaggio was born in Milan on 29th September 1571), and it is for this reason that it has been reproduced in Lombardy.
